manyserversThe manyservers option is used to specify
that Wusage should recognize the virtual domain name field
and reconstruct a complete URL. For instance, if the
virtual domain name field contains:
www.foo.comAnd the URL is: /graphics/bar.gifThe URL will be rewritten as: http://www.foo.com/graphics/bar.gifThis allows many virtual domains to be analyzed as part of one Wusage configuration. This is useful as a means of providing an overview for the system administrator. If you wish to provide separate reports for each virtual server, use the servername
option instead.
VERY USEFUL NOTE:
the Wusage 6.0 will look for the virtual domain name in the following places:
servername option is present, Wusage
will analyze only log entries that contain that server name.
Otherwise, Wusage analyzes all valid log entries found.
