directories

directories on
directories nopie
directories off
If turned on, the directories option indicates that wusage should display a report which breaks down accesses to the server by subdirectory. If the directories option is set to nopie, no pie chart will be generated. This option is useful to determine which directories on your server are most popular. The directories option defaults to on.

Since the directories report can be quite large, the breakdowns for individual subdirectories are written to a separate HTML page. (In email reporting, all of the information is in one message.) You can "drill down" to these details by clicking on the name of any top-level directory in the directories report. Directories are distinguished from regular files by square brackets in the report.

Since there can be many, many files on a web server, the directories option normally only descends to the second level, producing a report of manageable size. However, you can set the program to descend as far as you like using the directorydepth option.

You can also limit the number of items shown at each level using the topdirectories option.

The list of directories and files at each level is sorted by total accesses or total bytes transferred, depending on the setting of the order option. The list can also be sorted alphabetically by using the alpha option.
