Description

The Allow Single Access Visits (singleaccessvisits) option, when it is turned on, instructs Wusage to count visits that apparently consist of only a single access normally. By default, this option is turned off. When this option is turned off, Wusage assumes that single-access visits are actually coming from users whose identity is obfuscated by cookie rejection, proxy server IP address rotation, and other means, and applies a statistical method to compute the actual number of visits they represent based on the behavior of non-obfuscated users. Since these phenomena are quite common, it is suggested that this option be turned off. However, those who have reason to believe that single-access visits touching only a single object are in fact a common and real phenomenon for their sites may wish to turn this option on to reflect that fact.
