dnslookupseconds Option

To reach this option in the configuration file editor, follow these steps:

1. Edit Configuration
2. Maximum time in seconds for each DNS lookup

If you prefer to manually edit your configuration files, use the following syntax for this option:



Example
#Very short timeout; higher rate of failure, faster analysis
dnslookupseconds 30

Description

The Maximum time in seconds for each DNS lookup (dnslookupseconds) option limits the total amount of time that Wusage will wait for any particular reverse DNS lookup to succeed. This option currently operates under Unix only. For more information, see the DNS Resolution (IPs->Names) (dns) option.
