  • Description: 'Subtitle filter' for use with transcode version >=0.6.0pre1 This is a complete composition tool for digital movies. You can add subtitles (create with xste), picture, movies into the main movie, move these, correct colors in these and the main movie, have changing colors in text object, changing fonts, de_stripe UMATIC tapes, fade out / fade in (transparancy) of all objects, saturation, contrast, brightness, and hue. Full NTSC dynamic line (left to right) color (hue) correction. All this on a frame by frame basis! The specially designed very simple to learn .ppml language gives you full control over most aspects of your art. Can read ppml, suti, and Substation Alpha output format. Export of ppml, suti, vplayer, and ssa formats.
  • unpack: To unpack: tar -zxvf subtitler-0.6.tgz cd subtitler-0.6 Then follow the instructions in README. Reformat works, so does center text. Only RGB or YUV (-V flag) tested in transcode. Tested with 720 x 576 and 352 x 288. Fonts and some routines are taken from Linux mplayer. Call from transcode with -J subtitler="option1=n option2" .
