Description: Experimental MIDI to WAVE converter using Ultrasound-compatible patch files. Plays MIDI files in real time on /dev/dsp. A fast computer and a 16-bit soundcard are recommended for best results. TiMidity needs patch files to generate sound; guitar and piano patches are included in "timidity-lib-0.1.tar.gz". More patches are required for full General MIDI compatibility. Runs on Linux, FreeBSD, SunOs, Solaris and HP-UX.
