Linux Software Map: SBaGen - Binaural Brain Wave Experimenter's Lab

  • Version: 1.4.0
  • Entered-date: 2004-05-19
  • Description: This is SBaGen, a Binaural Brain-Wave Experimenters' Lab. The utility generates binaural beats, pink noise and river sounds in real-time according to a 24-hour programmed sequence read from a file. WAV-file output is also possible. MP3s and OGGs may also be mixed in to provide background sounds, with randomised looping supported for OGGs. It generates accurate and high-quality binaural tones, and is ideal for anyone who wishes to experiment with binaural beats for themselves, without using the commercially available tapes or courses. For more theory about binaural beats and how they affect the mind, see the included documentation.
