- Description: Plany is a program that is meant to be used as a front-end to "real" music players. It recursively scans a directory given on the command line, or uses it's own database. Plany will also examine files that end in .zip, .lha, .lzh, .gz, .tgz, and .tar and will add any names found in those files to the selection list, which can then be easily played.
