Description: GNU gzip-1.2.4, compiled with special optimizations for pentium it replaces the standard gzip program, and is 10-30% faster than the normal gzip! The former release (30.11.95) had an error, and is even a bit slower! This one seems stable, its compiled with gcc-2.7.0i and -O6, I tested it on all .gz files I found, but the risk is yours!
