- Description: BSD like printer spooler as shipped with net-2 Fixes some of the bugs in the lpd distributed with the net-2 package. Notably fixes the "short byte count on write() considered error condition bug" that made network printing next to useless. Also fixes the bug that disabled `lpr -p' This version of lpd will work on a standalone machine as well as the normal net-2 one but there's little point getting it in this case unless you want to use `lpr -p' The binary distribution is just the lpd exectuable
