- Version: 1.2.13
- Entered-date: 1998-06-15
- Description: Block driver for an EPROM disk. Lets you burn a filesystem into EPROM and mount it as the root filesystem. Includes a simple compression scheme that eliminates redundant blocks. Designed for the Ampro MMX-SSD-Q-51 PC/104 EPROM card with 4MB EPROM, but is easily adaptable to other nonvolatile memory cards. This software was described in the article "Booting Linux from EPROM" in Linux Journal, January 1997, issue 33.
