Linux Software Map: kitchentimer

  • Version: 0.1
  • Entered-date: 2003-06-10
  • Description: kitchentimer is a GUI countdown timer with alert sounds. It emulates one of those little LCD-and-pushbutton appliance timers you can buy at the supermarket. You set a countdown time, start it running, then the display counts down the time, and it gives you warning sounds at the ten-minute and five-minute marks. When the countdown time expires, it gives you a warning sound and/or runs a program, either once or non-stop until you shut it up. It is scriptable, and configurable to use whatever soundmakers your computer has. WAV alarm files are included.
