Platforms: Any Linux distribution. For successfull instalation you need the original fortune-mod installed, at least the binaries /usr/games/fortune and /usr/sbin/strfile. Fortune files are in text/plain format (with end-lines in Unix style) and in encoding ISO 8859-2, readable by using any editor on any platform. Note that bsd-games don't run on Linux only, but on almost all Unixes where you can find a C compiler. Packages for RedHat and Debian are also available.
