Description: The avdbtools package is a collection of utilities to convert government distributed databases into a format usable by various aviation related applications. At this time, the package supports the National Flight Data Center (NFDC) airport / navaid database as input, and can generate output for use with fplan ("nav" format), and ICAO Map (world file format). Includes a user's guide and man page written in portable SGML format.
