- Description: Abacus is a spreadsheet for the X Window system built using Tcl/Tk. It supports many features common to popular spreadsheets and should be fairly easy to use. Currently it does graphics, cell editing, formats, formulas, loads and saves wk1/text/csv/Tinysheet formats, sorting, printing via Postscript and column/row manipulation. Additionally, it is programmable using a set of built-in Tcl commands so it should be fairly user-extensible.

- Platforms: Linux box with X11 and Tcl/Tk 8.0 or higher. Needs a C and a C++ compiler, plus flex and bison (or lex and yacc). Tested only under x86 boxes but people tell us it is buildable (if somewhat unstable) other other platforms - use at own risk.
