Hello, my name is ______ and I'm calling today as an INFACT activist and a concerned consumer of RJR Nabisco' products.
Cigarette advertising, which visually associates smoking with independence, healthfulness, adventure seeking and physical attractiveness, appears to increase young people's risk of smoking by conveying that smoking has social benefits and that it is far more common than it really is.
I am joining with INFACT and thousands of other consumers worldwide calling on you to stop your aggressive marketing to children and young people around the world and to stop undermining public health efforts, including interfering in public policymaking.
RJR Nabisco can start by discontinuing the use of cartoons to promote your tobacco products, including the blatantly youth-oriented "Joe Camel" characters.
I am boycotting Nabisco products, including Oreo cookies, Fig Newtons, Ritz crackers, and Planters peanuts. When will RJR Nabisco stop these abusive and deadly practices?
