Cost of Licenses to Register Shared Calendars 2.0
Evaluation copies of Shared Calendars expire after 30 days. You must acquire a registration key from Boutell.Com, Inc. in order to unlock the evaluation copy for unlimited use.Would you like to be a tester? We're always looking for testers to throw ideas and suggestions at us. Contact us if you would like to exchange help testing for a license.
Business License or Core License? Shared Calendars must be configured to run with your web server. We offer Shared Calendars at a very low price to individuals willing to do the work required to configure it for their own system. Businesses are encouraged to purchase the Business license, which includes help with your configuration: typically, we will have you answer some questions about your desired installation, then configure for you using ftp and/or shell access. If purchasing a Core License, we assume you understand the basics of your web server (or, you are intelligent and patient and using Apache, in which case setting up Shared Calendars may be a good way to learn - we try to provide some detail in our help documents.) Business license users feeling frustrated by these details should contact us: these details are for do-it-yourself Core License users. We are also happy to do contract work, either making code changes or assisting with a very quick training.

SMALL GROUP LICENSE: Valid for a single installation used by a maximum of 5 people. Also, you can use Shared Calendars to maintain a public web site Calendar.
BASIC LICENSE: Valid for a single installation, unlimited users.
ISP LICENSE: All installations must run on servers in the same physical building. End users can be located anywhere. Each unaffiliated group of users will expect a separate copy, installed in a separate directory, in order to keep their user list distinct from those of other ISP clients. Contract installations can automate account creation, or new installation creation, in a variety of ways. Or, talk to us about providing Shared Calendars for your users preconfigured but not yet purchased.
GLOBAL LICENSE: Allows a single corporation to install Shared Calendars for its own internal use at an unlimited number of sites.

CORE LICENSES: Who should use the core license? You must be able to understand the basics of your web server (or, you are intelligent and patient and using Apache, in which case setting up Shared Calendars may be a good way to learn - we try to provide some detail in our help documents.) For example, know how to: have your web server execute cgi programs, change permissions on a file to make it executable, read your web server's error log.

We must receive your Serial Number, which is displayed at the bottom of each web page displayed by your evaluation copy of Shared Calendars.
As soon as your payment is accepted, you will be sent a registration key by email, as well as by postal mail. Detailed instructions will accompany your registration key.
