Business License:
Shared Calendars and your web server must be configured to run together.
Normally, we assist substancially in that configuration. To install a business license,
please try out an example calendar, then contact us to purchase and install Shared Calendars.
Typically, we will have you answer some questions about your server, and then at your choice
either
assist you, or use telnet or ftp to configure your system ourselves.
We are also happy to do contract work,
either making code changes or assisting with a very quick training.
Core Code License:
We also offer Shared Calendars at a very low price to customers willing
to do the work required to configure it for their own system.
For a Core License, we assume you
understand the basics of
your web server (or, you are intelligent and patient and
using Apache, in which case setting up Shared Calendars may be a good way to learn
- we try to provide some detail in our
help documents.)
Shared Calendars Core Licenses are sold as shareware, so you can attempt to install on your own before paying. Evaluation copies of Shared Calendars expire after 30 days. You must acquire a registration key from Boutell.Com, Inc. in order to unlock the evaluation copy for unlimited use.
| License | Installed Copies | User Accounts | Core License Price | Business, Installation Price |

SMALL GROUP LICENSE: Valid for a single installation used by a maximum of 5 people. Also, you can use Shared Calendars to maintain a public web site Calendar.
BASIC LICENSE: Valid for a single installation, unlimited users.
ISP LICENSE: All installations must run on servers in the same physical building. End users can be located anywhere. Create a new installation for each user, or contract installations can automate new installation creation. As another option, talk to us about providing Shared Calendars for your users preconfigured but not yet purchased at a low or no cost to you.
GLOBAL LICENSE: Allows a single corporation to install Shared Calendars for its own internal use at an unlimited number of sites. Contract work is available to connect installations in a variety of ways.

Core Licenses
Who should use the core license?
You must be able to understand the basics of your web server.
For example, know how to: have your web server execute cgi
programs, change permissions on a file to make it executable, read your
web server's error log.
- You are welcome to attempt a core license installation on a 30 day trial period.
- We do provide technical support for core license installations if our documentation is inadequate.
- You may try to install Shared Calendars yourself and purchase a business license later if you run into too many difficulties.
"I bought version 1.0, do I have to pay again for Shared Calendars 2.0?"
No. If you registered Shared Calendars 1.0, your License is valid as a core license for Shared Calendars 2.0.
