Who am I?There is a very strong chance you are a carbon-based terrestrial life form with Internet access. As for me, I am a full-time web developer and part time author and mobile app developer living in Philadelphia. I have a thirteen-year-old daughter, a wondrous wife and a three-days-a-week salsa dancing habit. I am a senior developer with P'unk Avenue, a kickass design-and-build web firm specializing in Node, Symfony and Apostrophe-powered sites with an emphasis on user experience. I am a technical lead on the Apostrophe open source CMS project and the proprietor of Boutell.Com.
From 1995 to 2007, Boutell.Com was my day job. These days it's a pretty sweet side business.
Once upon a time I worked for RealNetworks, back when it was called Progressive Networks. Before that I worked for the Quest Center at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Perhaps someday I'll write another book.
For two years, I lived in Duwamish Cohousing, an intentional community designed by its residents.
Perhaps you'd enjoy playing with a tank of drag-and-drop cannibal fish.
